The world welcomed Arthur Brothers in 1930, and he was raised by an adoptive family in Utah. After serving in the US Air Force, he began his career in the telecommunications industry.
On December 10, 1963, Art Brothers, doing business as Silver Beehive Telephone Company was granted a “Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity” by the Utah Public Service commission. This certificate allowed Beehive to serve Grouse Creek, Utah–the first community of many that would benefit from Brothers motto to “Do what other companies can’t (or won’t.)”
What began as one man’s mission to fulfill the belief that everyone is entitled to the basic right of communication has grown into what is now Beehive Broadband, providing the fastest connection possible via our fiber network to thousands of customers across Utah and Nevada.
